Rob Barber Quoted in SC Paper on U.S.-Iceland Relationship

Corporate attorney and former U.S. Ambassador to Iceland Robert C. Barber recently affirmed that “Iceland, as a country, views favorably the long-term relationship it has with the U.S.”  He also discussed the island nation’s success in marketing the “Iceland brand” of fish and other sustainable sea creatures.  The comments came in an interview with The Post and Courier during Barber’s visit to his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina.

Barber served as ambassador to Iceland under President Obama from 2015 to 2017.  In January, he joined Prince Lobel, where he is resuming his commercial law-based practice, in which he acts primarily as outside general counsel to entrepreneurs and their enterprises.
