Kimberley Keyes and Jeffrey Pyle present MCLE program on Massachusetts Public Records and Open Meeting Laws

September 21, 2006

Can e-mailing fellow board members violate the Open Meeting Law? Are post-9/11 exemptions to the Public Records Act unfairly restricting public access to information? Kim Keyes chaired this insightful, informative, and interactive seminar on both the longstanding requirements and the new applications of the right-to-know laws in Massachusetts. Faculty members included Jeff Pyle of Prince, Lobel, Glovsky & Tye LLP, Robert J. Ambrogi of the Massachusetts Newspaper Publishers Association, Middlesex Assistant District Attorney Loretta M. Lillios, Susan M. Prosnitz of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety, and Needham town counsel David S. Tobin of Tobin, Sullivan, Fay & Grunebaum.
