Prince Lobel Associate Scott F. Lacy Quoted in Waltham News Tribune Regarding Request to Upgrade City Wireless Connectivity

Wireless dishes get OK from Waltham City Council
November 9, 2010

Representing firm client Clear Wireless, LLC, a Sprint Wireless affiliate, Scott Lacy spoke before the Waltham City Council requesting permission to add four receiver dishes to existing communications facilities. By installing the new equipment alongside the existing equipment, Clear Wireless hopes to expand Sprint Spectrum’s 4G network.

“A 4G network is taking wireless to the next step,” said Lacy. “The next step is broadband connectivity, which allows a wireless provider to connect to the Internet” with the speed of a DSL connection, he said.

“Any Clear Wireless and Sprint customer would have the benefit of being able to connect to the Internet, data stream or download movies, all at DSL speed, like what you get at home with your cable Internet connection,” added Lacy, “but on the road.”
