Prince Lobel has a long tradition of partnering with Boston-area schools and supporting
education-based community outreach efforts. The Prince Lobel Foundation was
created to enhance these and all of Prince Lobel’s philanthropic activities,
and to facilitate the coordination and management of the firm’s charitable
efforts.
Prince Lobel is particularly
committed to helping the area’s most at-risk youth reach their full potential,
and is proud to announce that the firm is the “Presenting Sponsor” for the
upcoming 9th Annual Back
to School Cup Golf Tournament to benefit The Inner-City Scholarship Fund.
Through the ICSF, children
in need receive partial scholarships to attend Catholic schools in Boston and
surrounding towns. Scholarships are given primarily to students in high poverty
neighborhoods, and are awarded without regard to race, religion, national
origin or gender. The ICSF provides assistance to the neediest families in our
community, so they can offer their children a first-rate education and the hope
of a promising future. Last year, the ICSF provided $6.5 million in scholarship
funds to 5,069 students in elementary and secondary schools in the Boston area.
