Jennifer Lewis is quoted in an article concerning firm client T-Mobile’s request to build a cell tower on the property of a McDonald’s restaurant in Hanson, MA. This was the third meeting before the Board of Appeals to discuss the variance needed to build the tower.

Jennifer is quoted stating, “Other locations proposed by the town or abutters are feasible at a significantly higher height.” A T-Mobile engineer stated that a tower at Town Hall would need to be 50 feet higher than the proposed tower at the McDonald’s site to have the same coverage.

“Our client’s goal is to get a facility on line as soon as possible. The McDonald’s site is a good one,” Lewis said. “The elephant in the room is the Town Hall site. Right now, that site is speculative. It is not a feasible alternative at this point. Our objective is to get the McDonald’s site on line for our client. In a balancing act, this is a good place to locate.”
