Options After a Termination: Jeffrey A. Dretler Provides Advice in November 30, 2009 “Job Doc” Column

Jeff responds to questions posed by a woman who had been terminated from a large company and who felt that she was “a casualty of retaliation and age discrimination.”  She also stated a concern that she may have lost “nearly $30,000 vested benefit due to termination.”

Jeff provided information regarding whether the woman could still file a claim with MCAD or EEOC, since she was terminated in March 2008, and also informed her what other avenues she could possibly pursue regarding her denial of vested benefits.
