Workplace Affairs Fraught With Danger: Richard D. Glovsky Quoted in Hartford Business Journal

November 2, 2009

In an article in the Hartford Business Journal, employers are reminded that they need not wait for a Letterman or ESPN-style scandal to affect their companies before addressing the many issues that could arise from allegations of sexual harassment., including “legal, financial and public-relations liability.”

According to Dick Glovsky, “the threat of high-dollar court judgments and bad publicity is usually enough to push employers to respond properly when complaints surface.”   Dick went on to indicate that training is “important for employers in regulating appropriate behavior…the best they can do is make their policies as clear as they can make them.”
