Joseph D. Steinfield Quoted in a National Law Journal Regarding Libel Suit Against Staples

The case, Noonan v. Staples Inc. involves a Staples executive that distributed a mass e-mail to 1,500 employees regarding the termination of a salesman for not complying with the company’s travel and expenses policies.  The 1^st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel reversed an appellate ruling for defamation.
