Robert A. Bertsche Quoted in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in an Article Entitled "Libel Suit Against Staples Can Proceed”

The case, Noonan v. Staples Inc. involves a Staples executive that distributed a mass e-mail to 1,500 employees regarding the termination of a salesman for not complying with the company’s travel and expenses policies.  The 1^st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel reversed an appellate ruling for defamation.  The plaintiff is proceeding, based on a statute enacted in 1902.  To view the article, click here.
