White-Collar Criminal Litigator James W. Lawson Joins Prince Lobel as Partner

Prince Lobel is pleased to welcome James "Jim" W. Lawson as a partner in the Litigation Practice Group.  Most recently, Jim was a founding partner at the Boston law firm of Oteri, Weinberg & Lawson, P.C.

A litigator specializing in white-collar criminal matters, Jim has more than 35 years of experience in state and federal criminal trial and appellate cases.  He has acted as legal counsel in 39 states, and appeared in 25 federal districts.  Jim often represents businesses and individuals in complex federal and state investigations of health care, contracting, bank fraud and other economic crimes. 
 
Selected as one of Boston's Best Lawyers for Non-White-Collar Criminal Defense and White-Collar Criminal Defense, as featured on BestLawyers.com and The Boston Sunday Globe Magazine, Jim knows that running a business is an increasingly complex and difficult undertaking.

Jim is just as dedicated to his clients as he is to the community.  He is the former Chair of the section on criminal law of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a frequent lecturer at conferences and seminars.  Jim is the current Chair of the Charity Grants Committee of Harvard University's Memorial Church.
