Paige Scott Reed and Robert A. Bertsche Quoted in Article in The Enterprise May 23, 2008In an article entitled Brockton Denies Complete Cell Phone Records, Bertsche disagrees with City Solicitor James D’Ambrose, who says the public doesn’t need to see the records of who the city employees are talking to. D’Ambrose based his reasoning on a case from 1979. Paige Scoot Reed remarked that the earlier case does not apply and that public access to those records is not an invasion of privacy.
