November 1, 2007

(Boston, MA) — Prince, Lobel, Glovsky & Tye LLP (“Prince Lobel”) is pleased to announce Gregory A. Pastore has joined the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate groups.  Greg most recently served as vice president and general counsel for Friendly Ice Cream Corporation.

”I have been fortunate to enjoy a rewarding in-house career, during which time I had the pleasure of hiring a number of the attorneys at Prince Lobel,” stated Greg.  “I look forward to working with them as colleagues going forward.”

While at Friendly’s, Greg was responsible for all legal, employee relations and security matters for the $600 million, 13,000 employee company.  He provided legal and business advice to the company’s board members, implemented a successful plan to protect against hostile shareholder takeover actions and managed Friendly’s SEC compliance program.

A veteran of the hospitality industry, Greg was vice president, general counsel and secretary for Bertucci’s Corporation before joining Friendly’s.  He headed the Development and Legal Departments for the $275 million, 9,500 employee company.  A graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School, Greg is an alumni of Tillinghast Collins & Graham, and Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar, where he focused on corporate and real estate matters.

“Greg presents a depth of sophisticated corporate and real estate legal know-how, complemented by industry insider knowledge that will allow us to better serve our clients,” said Partner Craig Tateronis.  “We know Greg had the opportunity to join other Boston law firms and corporate practices, and we are excited that he chose Prince Lobel.  This is a great opportunity for all involved.”
