Adam R. Doherty Associate

Adam R. Doherty is an associate in Prince Lobel’s Insurance and Reinsurance and Litigation Practice Groups.  Adam’s practice is focused on the resolution of complex civil disputes through litigation, arbitration, and mediation.  He has extensive experience in counseling clients in the areas of reinsurance and insurance coverage, including property and casualty, media liability, disability, accident and health and environmental and toxic tort claims.

Adam also has a broad range of experience in claims involving contract law, common and statutory tort law, and business torts, including class actions. These cases have involved allegations of substantial monetary damages, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. Adam has also defended claims alleging violations under state and federal unfair trade practice statutes and regulations.

Adam often appears in state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth and has trial experience in the Massachusetts Superior Court.

Prior to joining the firm in 2007, he served as a law clerk in the coverage group of a major property and casualty insurer. Adam graduated magna cum laude from New England School of Law in 2007, where he received a full merit scholarship, was recognized as a New England Scholar, and served as an editor of the New England Law Review.
