Elizabeth Duffy Associate

Elizabeth Duffy is an associate in the Litigation and Employment Law Practice Groups and handles a wide variety of matters in both state and federal courts and before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD). Elizabeth has defended companies in a variety of employment disputes, including claims of discrimination under federal and state laws, retaliation, breach of contract, wrongful termination, and defamation cases. She has also advised employers in creating employee handbooks and developing policies and affirmative action plans.

Elizabeth has represented both print and broadcast media companies in defamation and discrimination matters and has represented a wide range of companies in complex litigation cases, including commercial contract disputes, and tort claims including product liability matters. Elizabeth has appeared before the Massachusetts Court of Appeals and is admitted in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Her pro bono activities include representation of political asylum seekers before Immigration Court. She also represented a member of "Anonymous" in criminal charges brought by the Church of Scientology.

During law school, Elizabeth was a judicial intern for Hon. Mark L. Wolf in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to joining Prince Lobel, Elizabeth was an associate at Bingham McCutchen.
