Laurie F. Rubin Partner

Laurie F. Rubin is a partner in Prince Lobel Glovsky & Tye’s Employment Law and Litigation Practice Groups, where her practice focuses on employment discrimination and wrongful termination issues. Laurie handles all types of employment matters, including negotiating employee contracts and severance agreements, advising employers on their legal obligations, reviewing and drafting employee handbooks, and representing clients in litigation matters. She also has experience in general commercial and civil litigation.

Laurie is a co-author of the Massachusetts Practice volume on employment law and has drafted periodic updates.

While working at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, she directed its systemic enforcement program. Her publications include:

  • Employment Law, West Publishing Company’s Massachusetts Practice Series, co-author of main volume and periodic annual updates
  • Representing Clients Before Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination in Employment Cases, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, co-author (2004)
  • Massachusetts Employment Law, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, contributing author (2002)

In November 2009, Laurie was named a Massachusetts "Super Lawyer" in the area of Employment & Labor, as featured in Boston magazine.  In December 2008, Super Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Edition selected Laurie as a top attorney in that same practice area.
